Our pet really enjoys our heated radiant floors

My husband has been trying to bring a pet home for months.

I didn’t want a pet, but of course, that meant we got a pet. I made sure to put my foot down on letting the new pet onto the furniture! Shockingly, the pet never attempted to climb onto any of the furniture. She seemed pleased, but maybe it was just because she was too small to get onto the furniture. I guess the real reason the pet never attempted to get onto the furniture was because she enjoyed lying on our radiant floors. A few years ago, I talked my husband into having our furnace replaced with electric radiant floors instead. It was a sizable job. The construction crew made a sizable mess, although I assume it was worth it in the end. Now, our heat radiates upwards and our entire house stays moderate and comfortable all year long. My husband enjoys complaining about how much installing these heated floors cost us. However, since he got this pet he hasn’t been complaining nearly as much. The next time my husband mentions the cost of the radiant floors, I’ll just tell him that I got it done because I knew he’d get a pet someday that would love the radiant floors! Of course, if I try to complain about the mess the pet makes now, my husband can simply remind me that the pet hasn’t made anywhere near the mass as the workers did when they installed the floors.
