I have this very close friend who I always believed was entirely smart; He has given me excellent advice over the years and he has always had our back.
- Well eventually, I decided to do something that I thought was a great move, however I was reading all about actually working on Heating and A/C systems.
I looked at more than a few DIY Heating and A/C repair and service websites and videos. When I was confident, I finally started actually working on our Heating and A/C after shutting the power down to it and it wasn’t difficult for me to clean everything out and find the problematic parts. I ended up replacing the parts with OEM items that were for our Heating and A/C model and when I had it all done, my Heating and A/C system was actually working and appreciated! I ended up telling our friend about what I did, and he said that was the most foolish thing I could have done. He said by actually working on the Heating and A/C system, I basically voided the warranty because I was not an average Heating and A/C professional. I always thought our friend was smart, despite the fact that I thought it was foolish for him to say that. I get that I may have voided the warranty, although he is not paying attention to the fact that I actually fixed our Heating and A/C system! It hasn’t had any troubles and I am confident that I can repair it again if it has any trouble. I l received the most crucial thing is to keep it all clean and keep up with the air filter swings. I believe I will save a fortune by not having to call the Heating and A/C pros, and here our friend is freaking about the dumb warranty.
