No, I’m more like just mostly paranoid about germs.
This is why I put a high priority on keeping our perfectly HVAC controlled home really clean. It’s a full house here so, I have to be sure that I am always on top of the cleaning. Fortunately, I have some help from my husband who does almost half of the cleaning chores. There are evenings when we both get home and all we want to do is sit down and soak up the HVAC comfort. However, we urge each other on and get to our designated cleaning chores before dinner. As long as we keep up with doing those after work chores, we don’t get behind. But, it sure would be nice to just kick back in the HVAC and have a glass of wine. The HVAC also came up recently with regard to keeping the house clean. As we were getting ready for bed, I noticed that my husband was checking out and HVAC vent on the ceiling. He thought he noticed a discoloration right near the vent. Upon closer inspection, it was dusty grime. We realized almost simultaneously that the HVAC air ducts had never been cleaned. The very next day, I was on the phone to our local HVAC people. I had no idea that the HVAC ducts were supposed to be cleaned. They were kind enough to set us up an appointment with a sister company who does nothing but clean vents. Now, we are resting a bit more easy knowing that the HVAC air ducts are clean. They also resealed all the duct joints as well!
