As with all the people while in this pandemic, my mind frequently turns to the health of myself & our family.
Of course, similar to most other people, the two of us are doing whatever the two of us can to avoid the virus or stop the spread if the two of us happen to be asymptomatic.
My wife has resumed actually working in a retail shop. They have gone out of their way to be sure the air filtration in the Heating & A/C machine is doing all it can to supply a safe environment. My task is being done from our residence in the comfort of our excellent Heating & A/C machine. However, once I heard about my wife’s company installing new air filtration in their Heating & A/C machine, it really got me thinking. Working from home, which it seems as though I may be doing this from now on, means plenty of time inside our residence. I had never actually given the air quality much thought in the past. In fact, the only time I thought of the air quality was when cooking or pet smells hung in the air for a good amount of time. However, with the pandemic getting bad, I wanted to do all I could to protect & improve the air in our residence. The HEPA air filters are a fantastic venue to get started & I’m particularly thankful this is being done at my wife’s place of work. Yet, I actually wanted something that was entirely more proactive. The Heating & A/C machine company the two of us utilize provided the ultimate solution. We are having a whole house air purification system installed soon. This air purification system will go in the Heating & A/C machine air handler & use high intensity UV light to actively kill the DNA of hazardous air contaminants that could easily affect our health.
