at least it happened in the winter

I take the village bus back and forth to work every afternoon.

Public transferation absolutely is not our number one way to travel when we have a choice.

However it is the cheapest with the way modern gas prices are rising each and every day. The other week when I was riding the public bus back to my house from work the entire massive thing broke down! Both the bus driver and all of the passengers were stranded in the middle of the village as well as could not get on board and go anywhere. It was a pretty cold afternoon too. Of course since the local bus had completely broke down that meant that the vehicle’s central heating method in the bus was also not working at all under these conditions. Having no heating while stranded on the road with such cold as well as bitterly freezing temperatures outside was not a fantastic thing! I was truly feeling cheerful I had all of our Wintertime clothing on in preparation for the day! Both of us were stuck for over an hour while the bus driver boomboxed over the radio for help from the dispatch. They were sending both a bus mechanic out to repair the bus as well as a upgradement bus to get all the terrified, disgruntled people where they were trying to go. I wish they would have also announced that they would have been bringing some emergency portable section oil furnaces along with them or something appreciate that! Without heating this made the whole vehicle break down so much worse. I can be thankful though that this terrible day was not the dead heat of the Summer. If I was in a bus break down with no operable air conditioner I would entirely die! I could take the cold.
