An exciting, dangerous time

My sibling actually happens to be the police chief in our community, then the other day, I was so happy when he asked myself and others to come along with him for a ride along, and he was evidently trying to make it seem more exciting than it really was, and wouldn’t you know it, both of us ended up at a doughnut shop! I didn’t care all that much, I appreciate doughnuts and coffee! When both of us were enjoying our doughnuts and coffee, I took it upon myself to adjust the temperature control settings to get the air conditioning system entirely flowing! My sibling didn’t seem to mind as much, so I was thankful for that.

Then suddenly, my sibling got this urgent call on the stereo saying that there was a hot pursuit in progress and all units in the area were desperate to get there.

So both of us suddenly scarfed down our doughnuts and washed them down with the coffee. Then my sibling put on the siren, and both of us rushed to the latest intersection that was close to the motorcar chase. It was on the highway of course and they were driving at high speeds… When both of us got on the same road, the offending car was literally in our rear. My sibling tried to make a maneuver to cause the offending motorcar to cause damage, but the driver was able to get past us and speed ahead. This was entirely exciting, but it also was really dangerous, so it made myself and others start to sweat a bit. So again, I adjusted the temperature control settings to get the air conditioning system cranked up even higher. My sibling screamed at me to quit messing with the air conditioning system so that he could keep us alive during this car chase. Hey, it wasn’t my problem that I was so nervous and needed some more air conditioning units. I’ve never been in a motorcar chase before.
