When I was contacted about a surprise celebration for our friend Lisa, I was very happy about it.
- I couldn’t remember the last time I was undoubtedly at a surprise celebration, but they sure are a lot of fun! Usually whomever is surprised has a undoubtedly excited look on their face and goes to talk to everybody, then well, there were a lot of us and it was very dark in the home due to the fact that we made the choice to have Tony go ahead and split the switch to the breaker box.
I understand that this was kind of a dumb system because the a/c system quit working and it was getting pretty hot inside and the air quality was becoming poor, then every one of us were all just waiting there in the dark with our drinks in hand and our confetti bombs. This was all going on while every one of us had Tony at the breaker box getting ready to switch the power back on for the lights and rock n roll. When we later got news that Lisa was on the way, every one of us got ready for the initial surprise! When he opened the door and fumbled with the light switch that wasn’t working, without a moment’s notice the breaker was flipped and all the power came on as every one of us all shouted surprise and blasted off our confetti bombs! Lisa was so overwhelmed and had a very spooked look on his face before he passed out. I suppose it was just too much for him with everything turning on at the same time, including loud rock n roll, a huge number of people shouting, and confetti bombs going off, but he clearly was surprised, despite the fact that he could have been seriously destroyed. We sited his on a lounger that was directly under 1 of the HVAC vents and got him a drink while giving him some room to get some air. When he eventually came to, he said that every one of us should never do that to her, although he was excited to see everybody and everyone of us had a fantastic time.
