The condo that I purchased was a new building, everything was set up with the most current approach in mind, but you get heating, cooling, lights, and security cameras all on a single hub… This is known as a building automation system, then at first when I saw it I thought about not using it at all, and i thought I could buy a smart temperature control and control the Heating and Air Conditioning through it.
I then could get a bizarre security system and just do normal switch lights.
I am thrilled I did some research first. There are endless possibilities for using an automated system. It saves currency and so much time too. I realized that I can have zone control and automated programs in each room. I now have it so my labor out room will pre-cool in the summer time and turn off when I am done laboring out. I don’t need to flip a button. The lights are ready for me when I walk in and power down when I walk out, and my office has a Heating and Air Conditioning and lighting program set for my workday. I have the lights dim as it gets later in the afternoon and the AC to pump out more when the sun is high in the sky. At evening I have all sorts of automated lighting and security solutions around the property. If someone walks to my front step the lights turn on and the cameras are rolling. I never realized how much safer I would feel with that. I even get live footage of animals coming around that I entirely enjoy.
