Weighing the benefits plus disadvantages of high-velocity heating & cooling equipment

I’ve been looking into high-velocity heating plus cooling equipment for our property.

We’ve never been able to have a whole-property temperature control plan because the property lacks an HVAC duct! Our property is seriously ancient plus the walls are too tight to accommodate conventional HVAC ducts… Plus, I don’t want to undertake the lengthy, messy plus lavish construction project.

However, a high-velocity HVAC plan can be implemented without renovation… The Heating, Ventilation and A/C equipment installers can snake the flexible plus tight tubing around existing studs plus rafters, which keeps the overall costs substantially lower. I won’t have to spend my money to tear down ancient plaster plus put up modern drywall. There’s no large cleanup, painting or disruption of our family’s lifestyle. However, there are a number of disadvantages plus issues to consider. It’s easily hard to accurately estimate the exact cost of high-velocity Heating, Ventilation and A/C equipment replacement. The installers can’t be sure what’s hidden inside the walls, but restrictions such as plumbing pipes or electrical wires might be found in unexpected areas. Navigating around obstacles takes more time plus labor, adding up to a higher cost than expected. Because high-velocity HVAC equipment pushes heated plus cooled air with a superb deal of force, the blast of air can be incredibly uncomfortable, especially near the vents. However, the vents are easily small in diameter plus can be put just about anywhere. I’m hoping to find a spot in each room that’s nowhere near where we would tend to rest or stand. Another pretty major issue is that high-velocity systems are easily noisier than conventional heating plus cooling equipment options. There are certain manufacturers who offer muffling technology to reduce the sound though. In the end, I suppose the few disadvantages are worth the benefits of a whole-property temperature control equipment.
