Procrastinated a little too well

I decided to start spacing out all of my air temperature and air quality maintenance services to a more appropriate timing.

This might sound strange, but for the past six months or so I have been working very hard on one particular skill… Procrastinating. You see, I have a problem with being extremely anxious and neurotic in my life to the point that I am hyper vigilant with every task that needs to be accomplished. I can drive myself straight into a panic attack thinking about all of the things that I need to take care of every day. As such, I tend to be ten steps ahead of my actual life. However, this isn’t always a good thing. This is why I have been carefully prolonging the amount of time in between my routine air filter changes and maintenance appointments for my heating, cooling, and air quality control system. A few years ago I realized that I was paying way too much in air quality equipment maintenance. One of my good friends mentioned that she only changed her air filter every 2 months and she only called her heating, cooling, and ventilation repair shop twice a year. I started to consider my own indoor air temperature control habits. Honestly, I tended to change my air filter too often… I was buying more filtration devices than necessary because I was swapping out the dirty filters every two weeks. I also decided that I probably didn’t need a monthly heating and cooling check up from my air quality control technician. I decided to start spacing out all of my air temperature and air quality maintenance services to a more appropriate timing. And then… I forgot all about my HVAC maintenance jobs. I completely neglected my air filters and my HVAC equipment. The next thing I knew, I was scrambling to make an emergency heating, cooling, and air quality control equipment repair appointment.
