I like to think that I am a very warm and friendly person.
I know what it’s like to be around human beings who seem cold and aloof.
It is not a welcoming, supportive feeling that you get when people refuse to speak to you or treat you with kindness. That’s why I always go out of my way to welcome our newest additions to the neighborhood. I never want anybody to feel as though they are not allowed to be here. Last week, I was so worried about my newest neighbor feeling like he belongs that I even called the local heating, cooling, and air quality control dealership and figured out a way to give him a hearty welcome. You see, I noticed that my neighbor had called the local air quality control repair shop within a few days of moving into his house. I was aware that the property had not been well maintained, and it was likely that the indoor temperature control system was not in amazing shape. Clearly, he had suffered an instantaneous heating, cooling, and ventilation system break down as soon as he moved into the house. I felt terrible that somebody would be dealing with an air temperature disaster while trying to unpack and settle in. When I saw the heating, cooling, and air quality control repair truck sitting in his driveway, my heart sank for the poor guy. That’s when I called the air temperature equipment repair shop and asked if I could please pay for any HVAC services that were being completed at his address. The entire heating, cooling, and ventilation appointment was free for him… And I can rest easy knowing that he feels comfortable and welcome.
