The coronavirus has made business slower than usual.
A lot of people don’t want to call for a HVAC repair, tune up or installation when social distancing is encouraged.
Heating and cooling doesn’t care about social distancing though. All homes need it and this is the time of year that there are lots of new AC installations and cooling repairs. I think there are a lot of people who need my HVAC services, but are going without. I have been thinking of calling up an online marketing business. I don’t have a website or anything like that. I think if I had an online presence people would be more apt to call. First, I have a lot of AC specials going on that may entice people. They can get a new AC installation at 50% less of the cost. I have even been throwing in a new air purifier with any air conditioner repair. These deals are too good for people to pass up. I don’t think anyone knows about it though. I need some type of google ad going around so my customers know. Second, I am being safe during this quarantine. I have all my HVAC workers wearing masks, gloves and suits. We also are sanitizing our equipment and trucks before and after each job. I want the public to know that they are going to be safe when they call us. Third, I am offering virtual consultations now so that I can eliminate as much face to face contact as possible. I think the marketing business could get that knowledge to the public and my business would grow.
