Today is a holiday called Day of the Dead here on the Spanish Coast.
It’s the day after Halloween and they kind of take the day off to remember all those people who have passed away over the years.
Most of the local businesses are closed today and it is pretty much just a day of relaxation and celebration, and most of the beaches are pretty packed right now with tourists trying to get a tan. I need to go down to the cooling corp and grab a filter for my AC unit and then I’m going to go to the local business, if it is open, and see if I can get some cream for my shoulders to stop the pain. I need to get my shoulders better because I have a very big commercial HVAC job coming up in a week and I need to do a lot of lifting and moving of heavy HVAC equipment. I will have help from other people but I will still have to do a lot of the lifting myself, so I need to make sure my shoulders are strong and ready to go. We have some huge heat pumps that we have to lift up to the ceiling and they’re very heavy so I’m going to have to do a lot of shoulder work that day, and I hope that my shoulders are ready for all of this HVAC work coming up because my boss is really counting on me. I just hope that this local business is open so I can buy the cream for my shoulders today.
