Unless you have friends who are always give you wood or unless you have a wooded property where you could cut down and prepare your own wood, you will learn that wood-burning stoves are going to cost a lot more to use than a normal oil furnace, then you might pay ninety dollars for a score of wood, and this score might only last you a month or two. If you decide to switch to a traditional HVAC system, make sure that you do your research first. I decided to stick with an oil furnace instead of making the jump because it made more sense to me.
