As with everyone during this terrible pandemic, my mind frequently turns to the health of myself plus my family members. Of course, like most other people, we are doing whatever we can to avoid the virus or stop the spread if we are asymptomatic. My spouse has resumed laboring in a retail shop. They have gone out of their way to be sure the air filtration in the Heating plus A/C device is doing all it can to provide a safe environment. My work is being done from my household in the comfort of our excellent Heating plus A/C. However, once I heard about my spouse’s company installing new air filtration in their Heating plus A/C device, it got me thinking. Working from home, which it looks like I may be doing from now on, means lots of time inside our household. I had never entirely given the indoor air quality a great deal of thought. In fact, the only time I thought of the indoor air quality was when cooking or pet odors hung in the air too long. However, with the pandemic surging, I had the desire to do all I could to protect plus improve the air in our household. The HEPA air filters are a wonderful place to get started plus I’m particularly grateful this is being done at my spouse’s workplace. Yet, I entirely wanted something that was a bit more proactive. The Heating plus A/C company we use provided the ideal solution. We are actually having a whole house air purifier installed this week. This air purifier will go in the Heating plus A/C device air handler plus use high intensity UV light to actively destroy the DNA of hazardous air contaminants that could affect our health.
