All I wanted to do was pull my old window air conditioning system out from storage and start using it again to save energy this coming summer.
The central air conditioning system is getting way too expensive to have to run all the time.
So with installing the old window air conditioning unit into the living room this would help us all save money on the energy use. However while trying to get the old window air conditioning unit into the window I found that the windows in my current home did not fit the air conditioning unit! This was a major problem that I had to figure out how to solve. I turned to the internet and read many websites and clicked many clickable live links to find the answers I needed. One of those clickable live links that I hit on gave me exactly the information I was looking for. If I was to take some wood and fill in the gaps very tightly in the window, I would be able to slide the old window air conditioning unit in there with no issues what so ever. So I went down to my basement and found some old wood to cut up and shape as I needed. And just like the website said..one I had it all securely in place, my old window air conditioning system unit slipped right in there! It was in there safe and tight as ever. It really cooled my living room nicely as well. We did not even have to run the central air conditioning system other than late at night when we went to sleep.
